Service for contract studies and clinical trials
Recruiting volunteers/patients
We recruit volunteers and/or patients for our studies in several ways.
-
Advertising
Advertisements in daily newspapers and special publications such as those available in pharmacies; regional newspapers, self-help publications and similar. Wider catchment areas with larger numbers may also be achieved in co-operation with other institutes. -
Network
In cooperation with practitioners, partly through our network. A suitable patient’s GP or specialist will tell him or her about the study and provide further information about it. We will then carry out all the examinations and formalities associated with the study. There are many advantages to this cooperation. It is easy to reach plenty of potential patients. The treating doctor will be informed about the treatment from the start as part of the study. We receive important information on the anamnesis and the progression during the study. -
Internet
E-mail distribution to various institutions. -
Self-help groups
With information campaigns in self-help groups. -
Pharmacies
Through notices in pharmacies and other special facilities. -
Database
Through a growing database of interested individuals, we are usually able to quickly generate a suited target group. It is important to us that the ethics commission is involved throughout.
